The Diet Detective: Losing at the blame game (The State)

We are a nation of blamers. We love to blame situations, circumstances, events and even ourselves for where we are in our lives. Blame allows you to avoid taking action — it gets you off the hook from acting responsibly. SPIN CYCLE A hollow feeling from the 100 mile diet (Elmira Independent)

You have to hand it to the couple that started the 100-mile diet phenomenon. Actually, perhaps they didn’t start it at all. It’s only the book-buying public and media throng tripping over themselves for an interview that gave legs to their one-year experiment in eating local.
